This one arrived with a folder, and the folder is the reason we bought it. A 2020 Ford F-150 Limited SuperCrew 4X4 in Star White Tri-Coat, a BC truck from new, still under 100,000 km, with seventeen documented service records and nearly every one of them at Ford. Top-trim half-tons are easy to find. Top-trim half-tons somebody actually looked after are not, and this is what that looks like on paper.

Limited sits above Platinum and above King Ranch, and 2020 was the only year it came with the High Output version of the 3.5L EcoBoost - 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft, the same engine Ford put in the Raptor. From 2021 on, Limited became the hybrid. If you want the gas HO in the top trim, this is the year, and there is no other one. Paired to the 10-speed with SelectShift and a 3.55 electronic locking rear axle, it moves in a way the rest of the range does not.

Inside is the part people buy a Limited for. Camelback two-tone premium leather front and rear, heated and ventilated power memory front seats, heated rear seats, a leather wheel and shifter, ambient lighting, power adjustable pedals, a Bang and Olufsen system, navigation on SYNC 3, FordPass Connect and a universal garage door opener. Adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking and BLIS come with the trim.

It was built to work as well as to look expensive. Trailer tow package with an integrated trailer brake controller, 6750 lb GVWR package, skid plates, front tow hooks, BoxLink cargo management, pickup box LED lighting and a spray-in bedliner. Power deploy running boards drop when you open the door. The 136 litre fuel tank means fewer stops on a long haul, and the factory 22 inch polished aluminum wheels are what give a Limited its stance. It stickered at 89,049 when new.
